The competition brief called for 81 new flats in Bratislava, in order to lower the demand for affordable housing in the city.
The proposal uses the potential of the site to its maximum and places emphasis on the public space and community life. The L-shaped buildings block the street noise and create lively internal courtyards. The courtyards are connected with the community spaces on the ground floor and lined with communal balconies, from which all the flats are accessed.
